A Flower Study
Part 1: Roses
It’s probably obvious by now, but I’m completely smitten with roses these days. From the sweet drift roses in my own garden to the dramatic climbers and lush, showy blooms—roses have captured my heart. Funny enough, they weren’t always a favorite of mine, but lately they’ve been winning me over in the most beautiful way.
Here’s a little flower study captured through the lens of my camera—a quiet celebration of nature’s beauty, with the rose taking center stage. There’s something timeless and tender about the way roses bloom, and I loved exploring their delicate textures, soft curves, and layered colors up close. I hope this collection brings a bit of that same beauty and calm to your day. Please enjoy. 🌸
These photos were taken here at my own garden and the stunning gardens at The Reynolda House in Winston Salem, NC.
Until next time..
With love,
Jamie
